Interim NDP Leader Nycole Turmel and MP Olivia Chow Honour Late New Democrat Leader

OTTAWA – In a tribute to Jack Layton, leaders from all political parties rose in the House of Commons, speaking of the late leader’s’s great spirit and hard work.

Jack was committed to social justice, dedicated to working for a Canada with more equality and prosperity for all. Likewise, Jack tirelessly aimed to elevate the standard of parliamentary discourse and conduct.  His spirit of hope and optimism lives on, and his work continues.
